How Tikona is Harassing Me?
OK! I made a mistake of taking Tikona broadband by seeing their ads and stuff. I called them on December 28th & got the connection by December 30th. I paid 2200Rs for connection and I took 899 plan (10 mbps plan). After installation, the speed I was getting was 4 mbps. That was when I told the Tikona guy to show the connection speed. He said speed will increase in some time, as it was just installed. So, I waited till night.
I was getting frustrated with the connection as the speed was not increasing, but it’s decreasing. I didn’t even get the 4 mbps speed that I got at the time of installation. Moreover, it was not getting connected at times, when I needed connectivity the most. I was getting frustrated. I tried contacting the customer care using their toll free number (the same that is listed in this page). But I couldn’t talk to a live person from there. But registered complaint on the number.
Now I went to their forum and posted about the same and the reply I got was something like “We checked with our systems and there’s no issue with you found”. What the hell? PS : I tried to get a snap of the post by me, but seems like they’ve now deleted the post from their forum.
This much frustrated with them and I choose to disconnect the Tikona broadband connection. I mailed their support (same mail provided here) of the same and told them to disconnect my connection. I got this reply :
With reference to your email Date 21/1/2017,
We have already taken your request for disconnection & the same is registered against your User Id:112011xxxx.
Please note the revised request no :1-454485xxxx for future reference.
Ok I thought everything is done and the burden of Tikona is done. NOOO! I got a message after some days that I’ve a bill due of 540 Rs, dated 15/01/17. Oh well, I have used the connection for not even a month and I got a bill dated on the 15th of the month. (Tikona bills are prepaid by the way).
I’ve paid the bill for the month of January in advance and disconnected by January 24th. (Even though I mailed them about disconnecting on Jan 20th). But I got a bill due by 15th of January. Well, I started getting calls daily after disconnecting the service about this bill. Also I’m getting SMS daily regarding this.
I talked to a customer representative on this call, and I told them I disconnected the Tikona connection & I paid January bill in advance when getting connection. Also I asked him about the details about this bill and how come they can bill me on 15th. The reply from him was dubious, he doesn’t know about all that but the system shows 540 bill is due and I have to pay that. You can decide about the quality of Tikona customer care from this.
